I've been to a number of places over the Summer looking for wild orchids, some very local, and some up in Northumberland. The latter has provided opportunities to see some of the most localised species and variants in Britain including the Lindisfarne Helleborine and the Tyne Helleborine. And Bishop Middleham quarry is home to the most spectacular display of Dark Red Helleborines. View more on my Orchid website.

Spring Orchids
Steve' Orchids has just been updated to include my Spring visits to a number of wild orchid sites. These have included woodland on the West Wales coast to see the elusive White Helleborines, a fen on Anglesey for the Narrow-leaved Marsh Orchid, and a number of sites where the lovely Bee Orchid grows. Have a look at the 'Happiest Bee Orchid'.

Discworld Stamps on Facebook
I have made a slight change to the page name, to The Discworld Stamp Collector, reflecting that this is a page for collectors of Discworld Stamps by a collector. I hope to keep posting on a regular basis with news opinons and some specialised stuff for the specialised collector. Keep checking in or make sure you receive Notifications of new posts.

Sunday School Stamps
I have just updated The Sunday School Stamp Album pages with some more albums and some other material. There's a home made album from 1943 when obviously albums were in short
supply and it was a case of 'Make Do'. There's a second US album that
ran for 13 weeks instead of a year, so this may be the norm there. And
there is some exercise books pages where someone has pasted blocks of
stamps that were obviously left overs.
Then I have made a start at scanning in entire albums. Got quite a few done, but still a lot to go.

The Orchid Season starts again
Back from a holiday in Puglia, Italy, and saw plenty of great orchids. The Gargano peninsula at the northern end of the region is debatably one of the best areas for wild orchids in Europe.
Visit Steve' Orchids to see pictures of all 21 species seen.
